Lectio Divina is Latin for "divine reading" and it is simply taking a short passage of scripture and meditatively reading and taking it in as internal prayer. These are long time monastic practices that are being revived in today's churches of all denominations and is practiced individually and in groups.  We tune in to what God wants to say to us.  It is reading, reflecting and responding to God through the scripture.  Centering Prayer is silently meditating on God's love and Presence.

 Lectio Divina followed by Centering Prayer at St. David's meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month from 7:00-8:00 pm.  These next couple of months we will be meeting May 26th, and June 9 and 23.
