St. Vicent de Paul Giving Tree 2025

Dear friends,

You may not recognize a lot of the gifts on the wish lists.  They are based on You Tube characters or Video game characters.  There are related toys and other accessories which are age appropriate.   Somethings like Roblox have gift cards available, others have related toys at most stores.  Remember the parents filled out the wish list. Although we hope you can find at least one item on the wish list, other age-appropriate gifts are acceptable.   Please bring the wrapped and labeled gifts to the church by December 9, 2025  If you have questions, feel free to call me at 860-374-3537 or email me at deaconellen98@yahoo.com.

Saint David’s Summer VBS Program July 20205

Get ready to experience the ride of a lifetime with God at Rolling River Rampage VBS.

At Rolling River Rampage VBS, your child(ren) will enjoy an interactive, energizing, Bible-based good time as they discover that life with God is an adventure full of wonder and surprise and that they can trust God to be with them through anything!

Registration is now open for children in Pre-K through 5th Grade.

Rolling River Rampage VBS will be July 21-25, 2025, from 9:30am to 12:00pm.

Come along with us as we sing fun songs, do crazy crafts, eat yummy snacks, play awesome games, and more.

St. Vincent de Paul Giving Tree

We are adopting 20 children from St. Vincent de Paul this year.  A lot more asked for bikes but they asked for other things too so you decide whether one big gift is better than more gifts.  Parents make the list, the children don’t. If you can’t shop yourself, pair up with a friend.  Presents must be brought to church by December 10 so we can get them to St. Vincent de Paul’s by the 12th.  Remember to wrap and clearly mark the bag with the number and letter you chose.  Thank you for making 20 children have a wonderful Christmas.

We are collecting socks- children or adult sizes. We have a goal of collecting 100 pairs of socks. The socks will be donated to the Homeless Hospitality Center and Thames Valley Family Program.

The wish lists for the St. Vincent de Paul Christmas Party are available. If you would like to contribute, please sign up to provide gifts for a child as soon as possible. Gifts should be rapped and ready need to be delivered to St. David's by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12 when they will be sorted. The gifts will be delivered to St. Vincent de Paul's and distributed from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 14 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.  Questions can be directed to Deacon Ellen at 860-374-3537 or deaconellen98@yahoo.com. She is also available for consultations most Sundays between services.
